What Does “Letting Go” Actually Mean?

There is something in every one of us that we are holding on to. Something we have never fully said out loud. A regret. A relationship. A version of ourselves we cannot seem to leave behind. And somewhere, deep inside, we know we need to let it go. But we just do not know how.

I want to start this with something very personal. Something I have never found easy to talk about.

When my father passed away, I was not prepared for the wave of guilt that came with the grief. Not just sadness, but this heavy, suffocating feeling that I had not been a good daughter. My father and I were never the easy kind of close. I was rebellious. Whatever he said, I wanted to do the opposite. I pushed back. I questioned. & I resisted. And for years after he was gone, I carried that. I kept replaying every argument, every moment I had not listened, every time I had chosen my stubbornness over his love. & I told myself the story over and over: I was not good enough. I had let him down.

It stayed with me for a long time. Until one full moon night.

I sat down with a blank notebook and I just started writing. I did not plan it. & I did not think about what I wanted to say. & I just wrote. Three pages. Four pages. I lost count. & I wrote to him. I told him everything I had never said. The love I had hidden behind my defiance. The pride I felt in being his daughter, even when I could not show it. The ways his strictness, the very things I had fought against, had shaped me into the woman I had become.

And I cried. Deeply. The kind of crying that comes from somewhere you did not even know was still hurting.

When I put the pen down, something had shifted. I felt lighter. Not like the grief was gone, but like I had finally put down a weight I had been carrying alone for far too long. That was the night I truly understood what letting go means. Not forgetting. Not pretending. & Not acting like it did not hurt. But releasing the pain, and keeping the love.

I now believe my father was not strict to break me. He was shaping me. And wherever he is, I believe he is proud.

That full moon letter changed something in me permanently. And it is why I am so passionate about sharing the power of letting go rituals, especially on full moon nights, with all of you. Because when you give your pain a voice, when you let it out with intention and love, the healing that follows is beyond anything I can describe in words.

So today, let us talk about what letting go really means. Not the surface version. The real one.

Letting Go Is Not What You Think It Is

Let me be honest with you. Letting go is probably one of the most misunderstood spiritual concepts out there. People think it means:

But none of that is letting go. That is just avoidance dressed up in spiritual clothing.

Real letting go is an inner shift. It is the moment you stop allowing a person, a memory, an event, or a belief to control your energy, your choices, and your peace. It does not mean the memory disappears. & It means the memory no longer has power over you.

Letting go does not mean the past did not matter.
It means you have chosen your inner freedom over your attachment to pain.

What Are We Actually Letting Go Of?

This is where I want to go deeper with you, because letting go is not just about one thing. Over the years, I have seen people hold on to so many different kinds of pain. Let me walk you through each one.

1. Letting Go of People

This is the one that breaks us the most. A relationship that ended. A friend who walked away. A parent who never understood you. A lover who chose someone else.

I have sat with this pain myself. And what I have learned is that holding on does not bring them back. It only keeps you emotionally tied to a chapter that has already closed. Letting go of a person means releasing the version of them you wished they had been. It means grieving the relationship and then choosing yourself.

2. Letting Go of the Past

The past is heavy. Old mistakes. Regrets. Moments you wish had gone differently. I have worked with so many people who are still living inside their worst memories, replaying them on loop, punishing themselves for things that are long over.

Letting go of the past means you acknowledge what happened, you learn from it, and then you stop using it as a weapon against yourself.

3. Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs

This one is subtle but deeply powerful. Limiting beliefs are the stories we carry inside us, things like: I am not good enough. I do not deserve love. I will always struggle. & I am too much or not enough.

These beliefs were often planted in childhood, sometimes by people who loved us but were themselves wounded. Letting go here means recognizing the belief, questioning its truth, and consciously choosing a new story.

4. Letting Go of Outcomes

We plan, we work hard, we hope, and then life takes a completely different turn. Letting go of outcomes does not mean giving up. It means doing your best and releasing your grip on how things should unfold.

This, I believe, is one of the deepest forms of trust in the universe.

5. Letting Go of Identity

Sometimes we hold on to who we used to be. The successful version. The young version. The version before grief, illness, or loss changed us. Letting go of an old identity is one of the most courageous things a soul can do. It makes space for who you are becoming.

What the Bhagavad Geeta Teaches Us About Letting Go

The Bhagavad Geeta does not use the phrase letting go, but it teaches the philosophy of it more beautifully than anything I have ever read.

Lord Krishna speaks to Arjuna about a concept called Nishkama Karma: doing your action without attachment to the result. This is not indifference. This is the highest form of engagement. You show up fully, you give everything you have, and then you release the outcome to the universe.

He also speaks about the impermanence of all things, about how the soul is eternal while bodies, circumstances, and relationships are all passing. When we understand this deeply, holding on so tightly begins to feel unnecessary.

What We Hold OntoWhat the Geeta SaysThe Spiritual Truth
A painful relationshipYou are not the body or the emotionThe soul remains untouched
A lost opportunityWhat is yours will always find youTrust the divine timing
Old identity and rolesChange is the only constantYour true self is eternal
Anger and blameEquanimity is the highest statePeace comes from within

The Geeta also speaks about Vairagya, which is often translated as detachment but really means freedom from craving and aversion. It is not about becoming cold or distant. It is about being fully present without being enslaved by what you want or what you fear.

How Do You Actually Start to Let Go?

There is a book I keep coming back to called The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest. One idea in it shifted something in me completely. She talks about how you simply cannot force yourself to let go. And the more desperately you try, the more tightly you end up holding on.

I have experienced this myself. The moment I would tell myself, okay, today I am letting this go, the pain would feel even louder. It is like when someone tells you not to think about something, and that becomes the only thought you cannot shake. Our hearts are no different. Pressure creates resistance. The harder we push, the deeper the attachment grows.

So, what do you do instead?

You give yourself permission. Permission to cry, to break, to not have it together. You stop fighting the grief and you let it move through you. Because here is what I have discovered, and what I have watched happen for so many people I have worked with: when you stop trying to hold yourself together so tightly, you find out that you were never actually falling apart.

You were just healing.

And that is when letting go quietly begins.

Not in some big dramatic moment of clarity. Not after a retreat or a ritual or a revelation.

And it truly begins when something lands in your bones, not just your mind:

YOU WILL NEVER FIND PEACE STANDING IN THE RUINS OF WHAT YOU USED TO BE.

You can only move forward by building something new.

Practical Spiritual Ways to Let Go

This is the part I know you have been waiting for. Because understanding is one thing, but doing the work is another. Here are some of the most powerful practices I recommend.

1. Feel It Before You Free It

You cannot skip the feeling. Grief, anger, sadness, disappointment, these are not problems to fix. They are emotions to move through. Give yourself full permission to feel what you feel. Cry if you need to. Write it all out in a journal. Scream into a pillow. Let the energy move.

2. Shadow Journaling

Shadow work is one of the most transformative tools I have used personally and taught to thousands. When we write honestly about what we are holding, when we shine light on the dark corners of our inner world, we begin to release it. My course on Shadow Journaling for Inner Child Healing is designed exactly for this. If you feel called to go deeper, I invite you to explore it at Dr. Neetik Kaushik Website

3. Ho’oponopono Prayer

This ancient Hawaiian healing prayer is something I come back to again and again. When I am holding resentment toward someone, or even toward myself, I sit quietly and repeat: I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.

It sounds simple. It is profoundly healing. This prayer does not absolve the other person of responsibility. It frees YOU from the energetic cord of pain.

If you want to go deeper with this practice, I have created an Advanced Ho’oponopono Healing Journey, a full audio course that takes you through this healing at a much deeper level. It is one of the most powerful things I have put together, and I have seen it transform people who had been stuck in pain for years. You can find it at Dr. Neetik Kaushik Website

4. Cord-Cutting Visualization

Close your eyes. Imagine a cord of light connecting you to the person, memory, or situation you want to release. See it clearly. Then, with love and intention, visualize cutting that cord. Not with anger. With grace. Say: I release you. I free myself. I choose peace.

5. Working with Crystals

For releasing grief and old emotional weight, I always recommend Black Tourmaline for protection and cleansing, Smoky Quartz for transmuting heavy energy, Rhodochrosite for healing emotional wounds and finding forgiveness, Rhodonite for reconnecting with your inner child and opening your heart to joy again, and Ammonite for grounding your energy and bringing a sense of completion to old cycles. You can find all of these at Shop Dr. Neetik Kaushik Website

6. The Inner Child Re-Entry Practice

You cannot change what happened in the past. But by shifting your perspective of it, you can change how you feel right now. You can change the story. & You can change your life.

You can stop holding on to the old version of yourself that was required to be someone you inherently are not.

Instead of longing for what you did not get then, release yourself from the past and start putting your energy into creating that experience now.

The Full Moon: The Most Powerful Time to Let Go

Here is something I want you to know. Nature gives us a sacred window for releasing every single month. And it is the Full Moon.

The full moon is energetically one of the most powerful times for emotional release. Think of it like a cosmic tide that pulls things up to the surface. Everything that has been hidden, suppressed, or stuck begins to rise.

On every full moon, I share a special letting go ritual on my YouTube channel. And here is what makes it unique: each full moon falls in a different zodiac sign, and the energy of that sign completely shapes what we are being asked to release.

Each month, I create a ritual that is completely specific to that moon’s energy. Sometimes it is a journaling practice. Sometimes a breathwork exercise. & Sometimes a meditation or a fire ceremony intention. No two full moons look the same.

Every full moon, I share a new letting go ritual on my YouTube channel– “Nitty Gritty With Dr Neeti Kaushik”.
Tailored to the zodiac sign, the cosmic energy, and what we all need to release that month.
Visit my channel and search for the latest full moon ritual. Your release is waiting.

I have had people write to me saying that one full moon ritual changed their relationship with themselves forever. That they cried for an hour and felt lighter than they had in years. That they finally released a relationship they had been holding for a decade.

The moon does not judge. She just holds space. And when you show up with an open heart, the release can be breathtaking.

A Final Word From My Heart to Yours

Letting go is not a one-time event. It is a practice. Some days you will feel free, and then something will happen, a song, a smell, a conversation, and the grief will rush back in.

That is okay. That is human. & That is part of being a soul in a body.

But each time you choose to release instead of grip, each time you choose your peace over your pain, you are doing something sacred. You are choosing yourself. You are choosing freedom. & You are aligning with the truth that your soul has always known: you were never meant to carry this weight forever.

You are not your past. You are not your pain. You are the awareness that has the power to release it all and begin again.

If you are ready to go deeper into this work, I want to hold your hand through it. My courses on Ho’oponopono Healing, Shadow Journaling, and Self-Love are all designed to take you from holding to healing.

With love and light,

Dr. Neeti Kaushik

The Power of Affirmations: Rewire Mind & Transform Life

Let me be honest with you. I did not discover affirmations through years of spiritual study or through some profound awakening. I discovered them the way many of us discover something life-changing: by accident, out of curiosity, and with a healthy dose of skepticism.

When I first started my YouTube journey, I was consuming a lot of content from English creators to understand how things worked. And I kept noticing something. Videos on affirmations. Morning affirmations, sleep affirmations, abundance affirmations. And these were not just videos with decent numbers. These were videos with lakhs of views and hundreds of comments. But what really caught my attention was not the views. It was the comments.

People were not just saying “nice video.” They were sharing how their lives were changing. How they had started feeling differently about themselves. How things had begun to shift. I remember reading those comments and thinking, does this actually work? Because at that point, I had never tried it myself.

So, I did what any curious person would do. I tried it. I started listening to morning affirmations. Just as an experiment. No big commitment, no grand expectations.

And then something happened. Something quiet but undeniable. I started feeling different. A little lighter. A little more grounded. The inner noise began to settle. And slowly, I started to believe in what I was hearing.

That experience changed the direction of my content completely. I created my own affirmation videos, and what happened next genuinely moved me. Those videos crossed lakhs of views. And the comments, just like the ones I had read before, began pouring in. People sharing how their mornings felt different. How they were finally feeling worthy. How something inside them had shifted.

That is when I knew this was not just a trend. This was something real. Something rooted. Something worth understanding deeply and sharing widely.

So today, whether you are completely new to affirmations or you have been using them for a while and feel like they are not quite working the way you hoped, this article is for you. Let us go deep together.

What Are Affirmations, Really?

Let us start from the very beginning, because I find that most people have a surface-level understanding of what affirmations are, and that is often why they do not get the full benefit from them.

Affirmations are positive, present-tense statements that you repeat with intention and feeling. They are declarations about yourself, your life, your worth, and your future, spoken or written or heard as if they are already true.

But here is the part most people miss: affirmations are not just feel-good phrases. They are tools for mental and energetic reprogramming. When used consistently, they work at a level much deeper than the conscious mind.

A simple example:
Instead of saying: “I hope I become successful.”
An affirmation says: “I am worthy of success, and it flows to me naturally.”
That shift from hoping to declaring is everything.

The Science Behind Affirmations

I know that for many of us, spirituality and science feel like two different worlds. But when it comes to affirmations, these two worlds meet in the most beautiful way.

Your Brain Can Be Rewired

Neuroscience has shown us something extraordinary: the brain is not fixed. It is constantly changing based on the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the beliefs we hold. This concept is called neuroplasticity.

When you repeat an affirmation consistently, you are literally creating new neural pathways in your brain. You are strengthening the connections between neurons that support the belief you are planting.

Think of it like this. Imagine your brain is a field. Every thought you have is like walking a path across that field. The more you walk the same path, the more worn and clear it becomes. Eventually, it becomes the easiest, most natural route to take.

Affirmations help you build new paths. Paths of abundance. Paths of confidence. & Paths of love.

What Research Tells Us

Studies in psychology have found that self-affirmation activates the brain’s reward systems. Research published in journals on social psychology shows that positive self-statements reduce stress responses and help people process threatening information more openly.

There is also research showing that when people regularly affirm their core values, they are better able to make healthy choices, bounce back from setbacks, and maintain a sense of self-worth even under pressure.

The Reticular Activating System, or RAS, is another fascinating piece of this puzzle. The RAS is a network in your brain that acts like a filter. It decides what information gets your attention out of the millions of signals around you. When you repeatedly affirm something, your RAS begins to look for evidence of that thing in your reality. You start noticing opportunities you once overlooked. You see possibilities where before you only saw walls.

Affirmations Across Cultures and Spiritual Traditions

What I find so deeply comforting is that affirmations are not a new-age invention. The practice of consciously directing our words and thoughts toward a desired reality is ancient. It is woven into the fabric of human spirituality across every culture on earth.

In Our Indian and Vedic Tradition

In Hinduism, we have mantras. Sacred sounds and phrases that are chanted or repeated with deep intention. “Om Namah Shivaya.” “Aham Brahmasmi.” These are not random words. They are affirmations of the highest order, reminding us of our divine nature and our connection to something greater.

Sankalpa in yoga and Sanskrit tradition is the practice of setting a deep intention from the heart. It is not wishful thinking. It is a solemn inner declaration. This is exactly what an affirmation is at its core.

Japa, the repetition of sacred names or phrases, is another ancient practice that works on exactly the same principle. Repetition with devotion creates transformation.

In Other Traditions Around the World

In Christianity, the practice of speaking scripture, confessing positive truths aloud, and declaring God’s promises over your life is a widely recognised form of affirmation. Many churches specifically teach that the words we speak carry power, drawing from the Biblical principle that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

In Islam, dhikr, the remembrance of God through repeated phrases, carries this same power of sacred repetition and positive declaration.

In Buddhism, loving-kindness meditations use affirmative phrases directed toward oneself and others as a form of healing and expansion.

Indigenous traditions across the world use chanting, song, and intentional speech as ways to align with nature and call in desired realities.

The common thread is this: every major spiritual tradition on earth has understood that words, spoken with intention and feeling, hold creative power.

How Affirmations Bring Real Change

Let me tell you exactly what happens when you begin a consistent affirmation practice, because I have seen this unfold not just in my own life but in the lives of thousands of people in my community.

They Shift Your Identity

Most of us have a deeply held story about who we are. ‘I am not good enough.’ ‘I am always struggling with money.’ ‘I am not the kind of person who is loved easily.’ These stories were written long before you had the awareness to question them. Often they were written in childhood.

Affirmations work because they gently, persistently rewrite that story. Over time, you stop being someone who hopes to feel worthy. You start being someone who knows they are worthy. That is a profound identity shift, and it changes everything.

They Change Your Energy

In my work as a spiritual mentor, I talk about energy a great deal, because I genuinely believe that we are energetic beings living in an energetic universe. And the law of vibration tells us that like attracts like.

When your inner dialogue is rooted in lack and fear, you emit that energy. When your inner dialogue shifts to abundance and possibility, your energy shifts too. Affirmations are one of the most practical tools I know for raising your vibration consistently.

They Prepare the Ground for Manifestation

Manifestation does not happen in a vacuum. It happens when your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions are aligned. Affirmations work to align that inner world so that what you desire can actually take root in your outer reality.

I always tell my students: you cannot build a house on shaky ground. Affirmations are how you prepare the soil of your mind for the seeds of your dreams.

How to Practice Affirmations: A Complete Guide

Now let us get into the practical side, because knowing about affirmations is one thing and actually experiencing their power is another.

Method 1: Listening to Affirmations

This is one of the most gentle and accessible ways to begin. Simply listen to recorded affirmations, ideally in a calm, relaxed state. Morning and nighttime are especially powerful because your brain is in a more receptive, theta state during these times.

You can listen while you meditate, while you are falling asleep, or even during a quiet walk. The key is to listen with openness and let the words wash over you without judgment or resistance.

This method is wonderful for beginners and for anyone going through a heavy emotional period where active practice feels like too much.

If you’d like to truly experience the magic of affirmations, I invite you to explore my YouTube channel. I’ve created a dedicated playlist with affirmations for different areas of life, whether it’s healing, confidence, abundance, or self-love.

Here’s the link to the playlist: Click Here

Method 2: Writing Affirmations

Writing is one of the most powerful ways to anchor affirmations into your consciousness. When you write, you engage your mind and body together in a way that speaking alone does not.

One popular method is the 369 technique, where you write your affirmation 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon, and 9 times at night. This rhythm, inspired by Nikola Tesla’s belief in the significance of these numbers, creates a powerful pattern of repetition throughout the day.

Another method is to keep an affirmation journal where you write your chosen affirmations at the start of each day, along with a few lines about how you intend to embody that affirmation in the day ahead.

Method 3: Speaking Affirmations Aloud

There is something uniquely powerful about the spoken word. Your voice carries vibration. When you speak an affirmation aloud, especially with feeling and conviction, you are sending that vibration into your own energy field and into the space around you.

I encourage my students to say their affirmations in front of a mirror, looking into their own eyes. It can feel uncomfortable at first, especially if you have been hard on yourself for a long time. But that discomfort is actually a signal that the practice is touching something deep. Stay with it.

Method 4: Meditation with Affirmations

Combining affirmations with meditation is, in my experience, one of the most potent practices available to us. When the mind is quieted and the body is relaxed, affirmations can sink into layers of the subconscious that are otherwise closed off.

Begin with a few minutes of deep breathing to settle the nervous system. Then introduce your affirmation, either repeating it silently or in a gentle whisper, while visualizing the reality it points toward. Stay in that space for as long as feels right.

Common Myths About Affirmations (And the Truth Behind Them)

Myth 1: Affirmations Are Just Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is surface-level. Affirmations, when practiced with depth and feeling, work at the level of belief and identity. They are not about pretending everything is perfect. They are about choosing which story you want to strengthen within yourself.

Myth 2: They Feel Fake, So They Cannot Work

Almost everyone feels this way at the beginning. That feeling of ‘this is not true’ is simply your old programming talking. It is a sign that the affirmation is challenging a belief you have held for a long time. Keep going. The discomfort decreases as the new belief strengthens.

Myth 3: You Need to Repeat Them Thousands of Times

Quality over quantity. An affirmation spoken ten times with genuine emotion and presence is far more powerful than one repeated a hundred times mindlessly while your thoughts are elsewhere.

Myth 4: Affirmations Work the Same for Everyone

Different people respond to different methods and different affirmations. Some people feel most moved when they write. Others need to hear their own voice. Some connect deeply through meditation. There is no single right way. The right way is the one that resonates most deeply with you.

What I Have Witnessed in My Community

Over the years, thousands of people from my YouTube community and online courses have shared their experiences with affirmations with me. And what moves me most is not the big dramatic transformations, although those happen too. It is the quiet, steady ones.

A woman who spent years believing she was unlovable slowly beginning to see herself as worthy of deep love. A young man who had all but given up on his financial situation starting to notice opportunities appearing that he had never seen before. A mother who was burning out learning to affirm her own worth and beginning to set boundaries for the first time.

These are not coincidences. These are the natural results of inner work done consistently over time.

One of my students once told me, ‘Dr. Neeti, I did not believe the affirmations at first. I just trusted you and kept going. And one morning I woke up and I realised I actually believed them.’ That message made my whole week.

Affirmations are not magic spells.
They are mirrors. They show your mind who you have decided to become.
And once your mind is on board, your life starts to follow.

Where to Begin: Your First Step Today

If you are just starting out, I want to give you the simplest possible entry point.

Choose one area of your life where you most want to create change. Just one. It could be your relationship with yourself, with money, with your health, or with love.

Then write one affirmation for that area. Keep it in the present tense. Keep it positive. & Keep it personal.

Say it aloud, looking in the mirror if you can, three times in the morning and three times before bed. Do this for thirty days without skipping.

Then notice what shifts. In your thoughts. In your feelings. & In your reality.

And if you want a powerful, ready-to-use collection to support you, I have put together something I am genuinely proud of.

The Aries New Moon Life Planning Ritual

Every year, there comes a moment in the sky that feels like a gift. A moment when the universe pauses and says: here is your fresh start. Go. Begin. This is your time.

That moment is the Aries New Moon.

I have been working with moon energies for years now, and I can tell you from personal experience, not theory, that the Aries New Moon is unlike any other. It is not just the beginning of a lunar cycle. It is the beginning of an entirely new zodiac year. And when you use this energy consciously, something shifts. Not in the sky, but inside you.

Today, I want to share with you a simple but deeply powerful ritual I do every year during this New Moon. It is called The Aries New Moon Life Planning Ritual, and it has helped me, and thousands of my students, move through the year with clarity, direction, and real focus.

No overwhelm. No confusion. Just a clear path forward.

Why the Aries New Moon is So Special

Before we get into the ritual itself, I want you to understand why this particular New Moon carries such magic.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. When the Sun moves into Aries, the zodiac wheel starts over. It is literally a cosmic new year. And when the New Moon falls in Aries, we get a double beginning. The beginning of the lunar cycle plus the beginning of the zodiac year. That is extraordinary energy.

Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of action, courage, and bold new starts. This is not the energy of planning in your head and waiting. This is the energy of deciding, moving, and beginning. Mars does not wait for the perfect moment. Mars creates the perfect moment.

When the Aries New Moon arrives, the universe is not asking you to be ready.
It is asking you to be willing.

And that is exactly what this ritual is about. Not perfection. Not having everything figured out. Just the willingness to say: I am going to set my direction now, and I am going to trust the journey.

Why I Started Doing This Ritual

A few years ago, I found myself doing what I think so many of us do. Starting the year with big resolutions in January, feeling fired up for a few weeks, and then slowly losing the thread. By March, I had forgotten half my goals. By June, I was wondering where the year had gone.

Sound familiar?

The problem was not lack of intention. The problem was that I was trying to hold too many goals at once without any guiding energy or framework. I was trying to run in too many directions at the same time.

Then I started working with astrology more deeply, and I learned something that changed everything for me. Each month carries its own unique energy. And when you align your focus with that energy, you stop fighting yourself. You flow.

That is when I created this ritual. Instead of setting ten goals and forgetting them all, I now set one focused goal per month, aligned with the natural energy of that month. And the results have been nothing short of transformational. Not just for me, but for every student who has tried it.

What You Will Need for This Ritual

One of the things I love most about this ritual is how beautifully simple it is. You do not need anything elaborate. Here is all you need:

If you would like to make it feel more sacred, you can also light a diya or a candle. The flame represents intention and light. It helps signal to your mind that this is not ordinary time. This is intentional, sacred time.

That is it. No crystals required, no elaborate setup. Just you, your paper, your pen, and your willingness to direct your own life.

Understanding Monthly Energy: The Secret Behind This Ritual

Before I walk you through the ritual step by step, let me explain the foundation it is built on, because this is the part that makes all the difference.

In Western astrology, every month is governed by a different zodiac sign, and each sign brings a specific quality of energy. When you align your focus with that energy, you are essentially working with the current of the river instead of against it.

Let me give you a few examples so this lands properly:

April: Aries Energy (Action and Initiation)

This is the energy of bold beginnings. Of taking that first step you have been avoiding. If there is something you have been wanting to start, April is the month to start it. Not plan it. Start it.

May: Taurus Energy (Stability and Finances)

After the fire of Aries, Taurus invites us to build something solid. This is the perfect energy for finances, routine, and creating structures that last.

June: Gemini Energy (Learning and Communication)

Gemini is curious, expressive, and hungry to grow. June is your ideal month for learning something new and expanding how you communicate and connect.

Every month has this kind of energy, and when you know what energy is available, you can use it rather than waste it.

Your Complete Monthly Energy Guide

Here is a full table I have put together so you can see the energy and theme for each month from April through December. Take a screenshot of this, save it, or print it out. You will refer to it as you do your planning.

MonthZodiac EnergyThemeChoose 1 Focus Area
AprilAriesInitiation, ActionStart something new / Take a bold decision / Break procrastination
MayTaurusStability, MoneySave money / Build a routine / Financial discipline
JuneGeminiLearning, GrowthSkill development / Communication / Reading
JulyCancerEmotions, HomeFamily bonding / Emotional healing / Inner peace
AugustLeoConfidence, VisibilitySelf-expression / Leadership / Showing up fully
SeptemberVirgoDiscipline, HealthDaily routine / Organisation / Health focus
OctoberLibraBalance, RelationshipsWork-life balance / Boundaries / Harmony
NovemberScorpioTransformationLetting go / Inner work / Breaking old patterns
DecemberSagittariusExpansion, VisionFuture planning / Big goals / Dreaming bigger

One very important thing I want to say here: you do not have to chase all of these themes. The whole point of this ritual is focus. For each month, you choose just ONE area to focus on. One goal. That is it.

One month. One goal. All your energy.
This is how real change happens.

The Ritual: Step by Step

Now let us do the actual ritual together. This is the part where intention becomes reality. Please give yourself at least 20 to 30 minutes of undisturbed time for this.

Step 1: Create Your Sacred Space

Sit in a quiet place. Light a candle or a diya if you have one. Take three slow, deep breaths. Feel yourself arrive in the present moment.

You are not doing a quick task here. You are designing your next 9 months. Give it the reverence it deserves.

Step 2: Draw Your Planning Table

Take your A4 paper and draw a simple two-column table with these headings:

MonthMy Goal for This Month
AprilStart my fitness journey
MaySave Rs. 30,000 this month

(These are just examples. Your goals will be yours, from your heart, for your life.)

Step 3: Fill In Your Goals

Now, going month by month, refer back to the Monthly Energy Guide above and ask yourself one question:

Given this month’s energy, what is the ONE thing I most want to focus on?

Do not overthink this. Do not write a list of five things per month. Choose one. Write it down. Move to the next month.

This is not your action plan. This is your direction. The actions will follow naturally when you know where you are heading.

Step 4: Place It Where You Will See It Every Day

Once your sheet is complete, do not fold it up and put it in a drawer. That is not how this works.

Paste it on your mirror. Put it on your wardrobe door. Pin it beside your desk. Place it somewhere your eyes land every single day.

When you see your goals daily, your subconscious mind starts working on them even when you are not consciously thinking about them. Your mind begins to look for opportunities, notice aligned actions, and pull you toward your intentions. This is not magic. Well, it is a little bit of magic. But it is also just how the mind works.

Step 5: Reflect Monthly

At the start of each new month, take 10 minutes to sit with your goal for that month. Journal about it. Ask yourself:

This monthly reflection keeps you from losing the thread. It keeps your goal alive. It makes your year something you designed, not something that happened to you.

Why This Works: A Personal Note

I want to be honest with you. I have tried every kind of goal-setting method over the years. Vision boards, 90-day plans, journaling systems, you name it. Some worked for a while. Many faded away.

What changed everything for me was working with energy. Not fighting the natural rhythms of the year, but aligning with them. Doing the hard, initiating work in April when Aries gives me fire. Slowing down and building in May when Taurus gives me steadiness. Reflecting and releasing in November when Scorpio invites transformation.

Life started to feel less like a struggle and more like a dance.

And I want that for you too. I genuinely believe that when you live in alignment with the energies available to you, you stop exhausting yourself trying to make everything happen at once. You trust the process. You pace yourself. And somehow, you achieve more.

This is the art of living with intention, not just with effort.

One Last Thing Before You Begin

This ritual takes under 30 minutes. But the impact lasts 9 months.

Before you close this article, I want to invite you to do this today. Not tomorrow. Not next week. The Aries New Moon energy is alive right now. Use it.

Akshaya Tritiya 2026: 3 Rituals to Activate Real Abundance

Let me ask you something honestly.
When you hear the words Akshaya Tritiya, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
Gold? Jewellery? Maybe something you ordered online just because it felt right to buy something today?   I have been there. I used to think the same way.

For years, I watched people around me rush to jewellery stores on this day. And I did too, sometimes. But somewhere inside, I always felt like there was more to this day than a gold coin or a bracelet. I felt it in my bones, but I could not explain it back then.

It was only when I went deeper into my spiritual practice, studying Vedic wisdom, working with energy and healing, that I truly understood what Akshaya Tritiya is actually about.

It is not about buying wealth. It is about activating the energy of wealth inside you.

What Is Akshaya Tritiya, Really?

The word Akshaya comes from Sanskrit. It means that which never diminishes, never depletes, never ends.

Tritiya means the third lunar day, specifically the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of the month of Vaishakh. And here is what makes this day extraordinary:

On Akshaya Tritiya, the Sun and the Moon are both exalted at the same time.
Both of these celestial bodies, considered the two Kings of the Sky in Vedic astrology, are simultaneously at their peak strength.
This is rare. This is powerful. And this is why this day carries such extraordinary energy.

It is believed that whatever you begin on this day keeps growing, keeps expanding, and returns to you multiplied. Whatever energy you put out today does not just stay in the present moment. It flows forward and forward and forward, building on itself.

The Stories That Carry This Truth

I love the story of Sudama and Krishna. Sudama, a childhood friend of Lord Krishna, came to visit him in his palace, deeply ashamed of his poverty. He carried a small handful of puffed rice as a gift. Just a handful, because that was all he had. And yet, Krishna received it with such pure joy and gratitude. When Sudama returned home, his entire life had transformed. His offering, made with love and pure intention, had multiplied beyond anything he could have imagined.

Then there is the story of Draupadi’s Akshaya Patra, a sacred vessel gifted to her during the years of exile. No matter how many people ate from it, the vessel never ran empty. Unlimited abundance, flowing without end.

These are not just myths. They are teachings wrapped in story. And what they tell us is this:

Abundance, when aligned with pure intention and gratitude, does not stop.
It flows. And it multiplies.

So today, I want to share with you three rituals that I personally work with on Akshaya Tritiya. These are not complicated. You do not need to go to a store, buy expensive things, or follow a long and difficult process. You need your intention, your belief, and a few quiet minutes with yourself.

Let us begin.

Ritual 1: The Manifestation Cheque

What It Is

A manifestation cheque is a simple but deeply powerful tool. It is a way of communicating directly with your subconscious mind and with the universe, sending a clear signal that your abundance is not coming someday. It is already here.

I remember the first time I filled one out. I sat quietly, held the paper in both hands, and for the first time in a long time, I did not just wish for something. & I felt it. & I felt the number as already mine. And something shifted in me that day. Not in my bank account immediately, but in the way I carried myself. In my confidence. In my energy. The external shift followed.

How to Do It

  1. Get your manifestation cheque. You can purchase one from our website, or draw one on paper, or take a screenshot of one online and print it.
  2. Fill in your name in the “Pay to” field. Write the amount you desire. Set a future date.
  3. Hold the cheque in both hands. Look at the number. Close your eyes. Breathe.
  4. Feel it as already done. Feel the relief, the joy, the freedom. Let that feeling move through your body.
  5. Place the cheque in your wallet or keep it somewhere you will see it often.

Affirmation to say whenever you see it:
“This abundance is already mine, and it is flowing into my life with ease.”

Ritual 2: The Rice Abundance Flow Ritual

Why Rice?

In almost every tradition in India, rice is a symbol of prosperity and nourishment. It is offered in temples, scattered at weddings, poured into new homes. It represents life, sustenance, and the never-ending cycle of abundance.

This ritual is something I set up in my own kitchen years ago, and I have never stopped doing it. What I love about it is this: it is not a one-time thing. It keeps working every single day, in the most ordinary moments of your life.

How to Do It

Every time you take rice from this container, say:
“With gratitude, I open the gates of endless abundance.”
This one small habit, done with awareness, keeps the energy of abundance moving in your home every single day.

Ritual 3: Intentional Giving (Daan)

The Truth About Abundance

Here is something I have learned deeply through my own life: abundance does not accumulate. It circulates. The moment you try to hold on to it out of fear, it stagnates. But when you let it flow through you, it comes back multiplied.

Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most powerful days in the entire year to give. Because what you give today returns to you not just once, but again and again.

I have seen this work in my own life in ways that still humble me. A small act of giving on this day, done with a full and open heart, has come back to me in forms and amounts I could never have predicted.

Give According to What You Want to Grow

This is the part I want you to think about carefully. Before you give, ask yourself: in which area of my life do I most want to see growth right now?

Then give accordingly:

As you give, pause and say with intention:
“What I give today returns to me in multiplied blessings. Abundance flows through me, and comes back to me in greater and greater ways.”

Crystals to Work With on Akshaya Tritiya

If you work with crystals, Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most powerful days to charge and set intentions with them. The combined exalted energy of the Sun and Moon makes this day ideal for amplifying your intentions through crystal work.

Here are the five crystals I personally recommend for activating abundance energy today:

CrystalWhat It Helps WithHow to Use Today
CitrineAttracting money, confidence, and solar abundance energyKeep in your wallet or on your work desk
PyriteWealth, financial protection, and blocking lack mentalityPlace near the entrance of your home or office
Green AventurineLuck, new opportunities, and fresh beginningsCarry with you during new starts or important decisions
Clear QuartzAmplifies any intention, ritual, or affirmation powerfullyHold during your manifestation cheque ritual today
Tiger’s EyeCourage, focus, and grounding your dreams into realityKeep near your vision board, journal, or altar

You can keep these crystals near your rice container, hold them during your cheque ritual, or simply place them in sunlight today for a few hours to charge them with the energy of this auspicious day.

Want to go deeper with your manifestation practice?

If today’s rituals have resonated with you, and you feel ready to build a real, consistent manifestation practice, I would love to invite you to join the:

Manifest Abundance Challenge

A guided journey with me, Dr. Neeti Kaushik, where we work together on clearing blocks, raising your energy, and creating a life of genuine, lasting abundance.

Join the Challenge Here

The universe is always ready to give. The question is: are you ready to receive?

A Final Word from My Heart

I want to leave you with something real today.

Abundance is not a destination. It is a state of being. It is what happens when you align your inner world, your thoughts, your beliefs, your energy, with the outer world you want to live in. Akshaya Tritiya is a gift. It is a day when the cosmos holds the door open for you, when the energy for expansion is already in the air.

But here is the truth: the door is only as useful as your willingness to walk through it.

Akshaya Tritiya is not about buying wealth.
It is about becoming someone that abundance naturally flows to.

Do these three rituals today. Do them with love. & Do them with full belief. And then watch what happens, not just today, but in the days and weeks that follow.

The energy of Akshaya means that which never diminishes. And neither does your capacity to receive it.

With love and blessings always,

Dr. Neeti Kaushik

Are You a Spiritual Healer? Nine Signs You’re On the Spiritual Awakening Journey

When I share my journey of spiritual awakening with you through my videos, articles, and courses, I receive countless messages from people asking the same heartfelt question: “Am I awakening too? How do I know if I’m on this spiritual path?”

These messages touch my heart deeply. So many of you are experiencing profound shifts within yourselves – moments of confusion, moments of clarity, moments where you feel pulled toward something greater. Some of you have been walking this path for years; others are just beginning to sense that something sacred is awakening inside you.

And that’s exactly why I’m sharing this article today. I want to give you nine clear signs that you’re on this incredible spiritual awakening journey. More importantly, I want to help you understand where you are on this path and validate what you’re experiencing. Because the truth is, not everyone resonates with every sign, and that’s perfectly okay. Your spiritual awakening is uniquely yours – there’s no one-size-fits-all journey.

If even one or two of these signs speaks to your heart, know this: you are awakening. You are exactly where you need to be.

Understanding the Spiritual Awakening Journey

Before we dive into the nine signs, I want to share something important that many people don’t talk about. When I first started this journey, the world told me that being spiritual meant living in bliss. People imagined that spiritual seekers float through life untouched by pain, surrounded by light and love.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

When you awaken spiritually, you don’t escape difficulties. In fact, sometimes you feel more alone. There are moments of profound challenge, of questioning, of hitting what feels like the lowest point of your entire existence.

A Swimming Pool Analogy

Imagine you’re at the edge of a swimming pool. You take a deep breath and jump in from the high diving board. The first thing that happens? You plunge straight to the bottom. You touch the lowest point of that pool. And only then, only after reaching that bottom, do you push yourself back up to the surface.

This is exactly what happens on the spiritual awakening journey. You reach what I call “the lowest low” of your life. And after you touch that bottom, your journey begins to ascend again. This descent isn’t punishment. It’s purification. It’s necessary.

✨ Remember This
The lowest point in your awakening isn’t a sign you’ve failed. It’s a sign you’re transforming. After the darkness comes the light. Always.

Nine Signs You’re Spiritually Awakening

The universe speaks to us in many languages. Here are nine ways you might recognize that you’re on a spiritual awakening journey:

1. Your Thoughts Become Reality Very Quickly

This is one of the most magical signs. You think something, and suddenly it manifests in your life. There’s barely any waiting period. You desire a particular food, and it appears. You think of someone, and they call you. What others call “coincidence” becomes your daily experience.

This happens because your connection to universal energy becomes so strong that your vibration directly attracts what you’re thinking about. The universe responds to you almost immediately. It’s not magic – it’s magnetism. It’s you becoming a powerful transmitter of energy.

2. You Start Receiving Signs and Symbols

One of the most beautiful aspects of awakening is developing an acute sense of observation. Suddenly, you notice things you never saw before:

Your inner voice becomes incredibly strong. You just know things. And the universe seems to confirm these knowings through signs and synchronicities. It’s like you’re in constant conversation with something greater than yourself.

3. Meaningful Coincidences Become Your Normal

You start to see extraordinary connections everywhere. You’re struggling with a question, and someone sends you an article that answers it perfectly. You’re worried about something, and a song comes on with lyrics that directly address your concern. & You’re wondering about a decision, and your friend says exactly what you needed to hear.

Many of my followers tell me, “Dr. Kaushik, I was thinking about this all morning, and then I opened your video and found the answer.” I’m not doing anything special on my end. The universe is doing it. I’m simply a channel. This is how awakening works. The universe conspires in your favor.

4. Nature Becomes Your Sacred Place

Before awakening, many of us live disconnected from nature. We’re caught in the noise of cities, parties, movies, and artificial entertainment. But as you awaken, something shifts.

You develop a hunger for nature. Peace comes when you’re surrounded by trees, water, and sky. You begin bringing plants into your home. You stop wanting the noise and chaos of late-night parties. & You start finding joy in simple things – watching clouds, feeling the breeze, sitting by water.

For me personally, I’ve created a serene space in my home with plants and natural elements. I spend time there regularly, and it’s where I feel most connected to myself and the universe. You’ll find that artificial experiences lose their appeal. The natural world becomes your greatest teacher and healer.

5. You Fall in Love With Your Own Company

One of the deepest signs of spiritual awakening is the shift from seeking external validation to finding completeness within yourself. You begin to genuinely enjoy your own company.

That quiet time alone – even if it’s just thirty minutes a day – becomes sacred. It’s your meditation time, your reflection time, your soul time. You don’t feel lonely; you feel at peace. You realize that the most important relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself.

This isn’t about being antisocial. It’s about being in love with who you are. And from that place of self-love, you naturally attract healthier relationships and connections.

Nourish Your Soul With Self-Love
As you awaken spiritually, you’ll discover that the greatest gift you can give yourself is unconditional love. Self-love isn’t selfish – it’s the foundation of everything. When you truly love yourself, you attract healthier relationships, make empowered decisions, and vibrate at a frequency that transforms your entire life. My Self-Love course is designed to guide you deep into your own heart, helping you release self-doubt and embrace your inherent worthiness. This journey inward is where all real transformation begins.
Discover the power of loving yourself at Self-Love-Course

6. New People Enter Your Life for a Reason

Think of life as a train journey. Some people share your compartment for a while, then get off at their stop. Others board along the way, and their presence transforms your journey.

As you awaken, you’ll notice that the people who come into your life are not random. They come with specific knowledge, wisdom, or support for this exact phase of your journey. Some arrive to guide you. Others come to learn from you. Some are here temporarily to deliver a message, and some are destined to walk alongside you for years.

You find yourself thinking, “I was just wishing for someone who understood this, and here they are.” These aren’t accidents. These are divine appointments. The universe knows exactly who you need and sends them at exactly the right time.

7. Fear Loses Its Power Over You

This is one of the most liberating signs. As you awaken, you begin to release the fears that once controlled you. You no longer feel terrified of facing difficult people or situations. You stop worrying obsessively about “what if something goes wrong.”

Instead, you develop a quiet confidence. Your mindset shifts to: “Whatever happens, I can handle it.” You trust yourself. You trust the universe. & You move through life with a lightness that comes from surrendering to what is, rather than resisting what might be.

This doesn’t mean you become careless. You’re more aware, more grounded, more peaceful. Fear becomes a quiet whisper instead of a roar.

8. Your Relationship With Food Changes

One of the surprising changes that happens on the spiritual path is your relationship with food. Processed foods, heavy meals, late-night parties, and artificial experiences start to feel off.

You find joy in simplicity. A simple bowl of mung dal khichdi brings you more happiness than fancy restaurant food. Light, natural, whole foods nourish not just your body but your spirit. You begin to taste the love in home-cooked meals. You develop reverence for natural products.

This shift happens naturally. You’re not forcing it or judging yourself. Your body simply becomes more sensitive and requests what truly serves your highest good.

9. Daily Meditation and Self-Development Become Your Joy

This is where the journey truly solidifies. You begin a daily meditation practice, not because you think you should, but because you can’t imagine your day without it. &You start reading about spiritual topics, psychology, and self-improvement.

You become obsessed with becoming the best version of yourself. Not from ego, but from genuine love. And here’s the beautiful part: meditation becomes meditation not because you’re forcing yourself to sit, but because it brings you such profound peace and joy. There is simply no alternative. It’s what your soul craves.

From this daily practice, everything shifts. Your vibration rises. Your clarity increases. & Your life transforms.

Where Are You on This Journey?

I’ve shared nine signs with you, but remember – this isn’t a checklist where you need all nine to “qualify” as spiritually awakening. Some of you will resonate with all nine. Others might deeply connect with just two or three. That’s not only okay – that’s perfect.

Your spiritual journey is uniquely yours. It’s as individual as your fingerprint. The universe doesn’t follow a script, and neither should you.

What I want you to know is this: if you’re reading these signs and feeling a “yes” in your heart, if you’re experiencing even one or two of these shifts, then you are awakening. You are on the path. You are not alone. And you are exactly where you need to be.

Crystals to Support Your Spiritual Awakening
As you journey through this spiritual transformation, crystals can become powerful allies on your path. These natural stones carry ancient wisdom and vibrational frequencies that support your awakening:

Amethyst – The spiritual awakener. This purple gemstone opens your third eye and connects you to higher consciousness. It calms the mind during meditation and helps you receive divine messages with clarity.

Clear Quartz – The universal amplifier. This master healer magnifies your spiritual intentions and purifies your energy. It works beautifully with any other crystal and enhances your connection to the universe.

Labradorite – The transformation stone. As you move through the depths of your awakening, Labradorite protects your energy and reveals the magic hidden within you. It’s your companion through change.

Keep these crystals close during meditation, place them on your altar, or carry them with you. Let them remind you that you’re not alone on this journey.

A Message of Hope

If you’ve reached the “lowest low” that I mentioned earlier, please know that this is not the end – it’s a beginning. You’re not broken. You’re not lost. & You’re transforming.

Every great spiritual teacher has walked through darkness. It’s not a sign of failure; it’s the price of awakening. And after the darkness comes the most beautiful light.

So I want to ask you: Which of these nine signs resonate with you? How many have you experienced? I would love to hear your stories. Please leave a comment below and share your journey. Your comment won’t just mean something to me – it will mean something to thousands of others who are on this path and might feel alone.

Remember: you are never alone on this journey. The universe has your back. I’m here, cheering you on.

The Four-Word Prayer That Changed My Life

Everything You Need to Know About the Magical Ho’oponopono Prayer

I still remember that evening. I was sitting on my bedroom floor, crying – not loudly, but the quiet kind of crying that is the worst. & I had just had a painful argument with someone I deeply loved. My heart felt heavy. My mind kept replaying every word, every hurt, every moment that had gone wrong.

And then I said four words.

Just four simple words.

“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”

I said them softly, to myself, to the universe, to the person who had hurt me – and to the version of me that had been holding so much pain.

Within minutes, something shifted. A strange peace washed over me. My shoulders dropped. My breathing slowed. It felt like someone had quietly removed a heavy stone from my chest.

That was my first real experience with Ho’oponopono – and it absolutely changed everything for me.

What Exactly Is Ho’oponopono?

Ho’oponopono (pronounced ho-o-pono-pono) is an ancient Hawaiian healing prayer and practice. The word itself means ‘to make right’ or ‘to correct an error’. It is a practice of forgiveness, reconciliation, and inner cleansing.

For centuries, native Hawaiian communities used this practice to heal broken relationships, resolve conflicts within families, and restore harmony in their communities. It was led by a spiritual healer called a Kahuna and involved the whole family or group sitting together, speaking honestly, forgiving each other, and releasing the past.

But the version most of us know today – the simple four-phrase prayer – became famous through the work of a Hawaiian therapist named Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. And what he did with it is, honestly, one of the most extraordinary stories I have ever heard.

The Extraordinary Story of Dr. Hew Len

Dr. Hew Len worked at a ward for the criminally insane in Hawaii in the 1980s. The ward was known to be one of the most dangerous in the state. Staff would quit regularly out of fear. Patients were violent and heavily medicated.

But Dr. Hew Len never saw a single patient directly in the traditional way. Instead, he would sit in his office, read each patient’s file, and then work on himself – repeating Ho’oponopono.

Within a few years, patients who had been shackled were allowed to walk freely. Medications were reduced. Staff stopped quitting. The ward was eventually closed because there were no more patients to treat.

His belief? That everything we experience in our outer world is a reflection of what is inside us. And to heal anything, we must start by healing ourselves.

The Four Magical Phrases – And What They Really Mean

Let me break this down simply for you because I think most people misunderstand this practice when they first hear about it.

These four phrases are not just words. They are vibrations. They are intentions. & They are a complete healing system packed into four beautiful sentences.

The PhraseWhat It MeansWhy It Is Powerful
I’m SorryI acknowledge the pain I carry inside meIt opens the door to self-awareness without blame
Please Forgive MeI ask for release from this old energyIt dissolves guilt and shame from the inside out
Thank YouI am grateful for this healing opportunityGratitude shifts your vibration instantly
I Love YouI send love to myself, to you, to the universeLove is the highest frequency that heals everything

The beauty is that you do not even need to say these words to the person directly. You say them inwardly – to the situation, to yourself, to the energy of whatever is causing you pain. Because Ho’oponopono teaches us something radical:

Everything you experience in your life exists first as a memory or a program inside you. To change your reality, you clean those inner programs.

How Does Ho’oponopono Actually Work?

Here is the core philosophy behind this practice, and I want you to really sit with this because it changed the way I see everything.

In Ho’oponopono, the belief is that our mind – especially what is called the subconscious mind – holds memories of every experience we have ever had. Not just from this lifetime, but some teachers believe from past lives too. These stored memories play like old recordings, and they create the circumstances of our life again and again.

When something painful, difficult, or unwanted shows up in your life – a conflict, a health issue, a financial struggle, a broken relationship – Ho’oponopono says: there is a memory inside you that is calling this forward. And you have the power to clean it.

The four phrases act as that cleaning tool. When you say them with sincerity:

The Divine, the universe, whatever higher power you believe in – steps in and transmutes that energy. The old memory is cleaned. And your outer world begins to shift.

I know this might sound too simple. I thought so too. But then I tried it – repeatedly, deeply, with full sincerity – and the results I experienced were nothing short of miraculous.

Who Can Use This Practice? (Hint: Everyone)

One of the things I love most about Ho’oponopono is that it asks nothing complicated of you. You do not need to be religious. You do not need to believe in any specific tradition. & You do not need to sit in a particular posture or light any candles.

And You just need to be willing to take responsibility for your inner world and offer it love.

You can use this practice for –

How to Practice Ho’oponopono – Step by Step

Let me walk you through how I personally use this practice. You can adapt it however feels right for you.

Step 1 – Choose what to work on

Think of a person, a situation, a feeling, or a pattern that is causing you pain or is stuck in your life. Hold it gently in your awareness.

Step 2 – Place your hand on your heart

This simple gesture connects you to the feeling body and signals to your subconscious that what follows is sincere.

Step 3 – Repeat the four phrases

Say them slowly, one by one. You can say them out loud or silently. You can address them to the person, the situation, or simply to yourself:

“I am sorry.”
“Please forgive me.”
“Thank you.”
“I love you.”

Step 4 – Repeat as many times as needed

Some people do this for 5 minutes. Some do it for an hour. & Some repeat just these four lines throughout the day – while cooking, walking, even before sleep. There is no rule. Let your heart guide you.

Step 5 – Trust and release

This is the most important step. Once you have said the words with sincerity, you release the outcome. You do not control what happens next. You simply trust that the cleaning has begun.

I have created a detailed YouTube video where I walk you through this entire practice – live, with guided repetitions, energy, and my personal stories of transformation.

If reading about it has moved you, watching and practicing along with the video will take it to a whole new level.

What Happens When You Practice Regularly?

I want to be honest with you. The first time you try this, you might not feel anything dramatic. That is okay. The cleaning is still happening even when you cannot see or feel it immediately.

But over time – and sometimes surprisingly quickly – people begin to notice changes:

One of my students once told me: ‘Dr. Neeti, I have been trying to manifest my dream job for two years. Nothing was working. I started doing Ho’oponopono every day – mostly for old childhood wounds I had with my father and my self-worth. Within three weeks, a job offer came through completely out of nowhere. I believe those were connected.’

I believe so too.

Because when we clean the inside, the outside shifts. Always.

The Questions I Get Asked Most Often

Do I need to believe in this for it to work?

Not fully. Just be open. Willingness is enough to begin. Many of my students were skeptical at first – and yet they experienced real changes. The practice works on your subconscious, not just your logical mind.

What if the person I need to forgive has passed away?

Ho’oponopono works beautifully for this. Energy transcends time and physical presence. You are not just sending words to a person – you are cleaning the energy of the relationship inside yourself. It heals even across lifetimes.

What if I do not feel sincere when I say the words?

Say them anyway. Keep saying them. The sincerity grows. There were days I said them through tears and did not fully believe them – but I kept going. And something always shifted. Trust the practice even when you cannot trust your feelings in that moment.

Can I do this for someone else – without them knowing?

Yes! This is one of the most beautiful aspects of Ho’oponopono. You can do this for a sick family member, a child going through difficulty, a friend in pain, or even a world situation that troubles you. You are taking responsibility for what exists in your inner world and cleaning it. And that ripples outward.

Going Deeper – Because This Is Just the Beginning

The four phrases are a beautiful entry point. But Ho’oponopono as a complete system goes much deeper.

In my advanced work with this practice, I explore:

If you feel called to go this deep, I have created something truly special for you.

A Final Word From My Heart

I want to leave you with this:

There is a version of your life that is free. Free from old pain, old patterns, old stories that have been playing on repeat. Free from carrying relationships that broke your heart. & Free from the weight of guilt you were never meant to hold.

That life is available to you. And the pathway there might just be four simple words.

“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”

Say them today. Say them slowly. & Say them as many times as your heart needs to. And trust that something ancient and powerful is listening.

You deserve to be healed. You deserve to be free. And you are so much more powerful than you know.

With love and light,

How to Manifest With the New Moon, Equinox & Navratri: Three Sacred Energies, One Powerful Portal

Namaste, dear friends.

I want to talk to you today about something I have been feeling in my heart for weeks. Something I know is coming. And when I look at the cosmic calendar for March 2026, I can feel it so clearly – we are standing at the threshold of a very, very rare and powerful moment.

Between 18th and 20th March, three enormous energies are aligning together in a way that does not happen often:

In all my years of working with energy, astrology, and manifestation, I can tell you – when a New Moon, a sacred seasonal shift, and the nine nights of divine feminine power arrive together, the universe is not whispering. It is calling out to us. It is saying: this is your moment. Begin again.

So today, I want to walk you through exactly what this means, why it matters, and how you can use this portal to set powerful intentions for the chapter of life that is waiting to begin for you.

What Is So Special About a New Moon in Pisces?

Let me first talk about the New Moon, because I feel this is where so many people miss a beautiful opportunity.

Every month, the New Moon marks a reset. It is the darkest point of the lunar cycle, and it carries the energy of fresh beginnings, new seeds, new possibilities. But this month, that New Moon is happening in Pisces, and that makes everything different.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It carries within it the wisdom of all twelve signs that came before it. It is deeply intuitive, deeply compassionate, and deeply spiritual. When I think of Pisces energy, I think of that quiet moment just before dawn, when the world is still, and you can hear your own heart.

This New Moon is asking you a very honest question:

Pisces energy reminds us that manifestation is not only about doing. It is about being. It is about faith, imagination, and emotional alignment. When your feelings are in harmony with your intentions, the universe begins to move mountains for you.

Why the Spring Equinox Makes This Even More Powerful

Then, on 20th March, we experience the Spring Equinox. This is the moment when day and night become almost perfectly equal. The seasons shift. Nature wakes up from her long winter sleep and begins preparing for growth.

I love the Equinox because it is nature’s most powerful reminder of balance. And so many of us – especially those who are working hard, raising families, managing businesses, taking care of everyone around them – are deeply out of balance. We give more than we receive. We work more than we rest. & We care for others and forget to care for ourselves.

The Spring Equinox energy gently asks us to look at our life and ask:

It is also, interestingly, the time when the new financial year begins for many of us. The energy supports fresh planning, long-term thinking, and setting structures that will support our growth for the next twelve months. So while the New Moon helps us plant the seeds of our dreams, the Equinox helps us build the ground beneath those seeds.

The Sacred Power of Chaitra Navratri

And then there is Navratri.

I grew up with Navratri. My mother would wake up before sunrise, light the lamp, and you could feel something shift in the house. Something ancient. Something alive. As a child, I didn’t fully understand it – I just knew the air felt different. Sacred.

As an adult, and as someone who has spent years studying energy, manifestation, and the divine feminine, I now understand why.

Navratri, which literally means “nine nights,” is the celebration of the nine forms of Goddess Durga – the Shakti that lives within each one of us. These nine nights carry nine distinct divine energies:

When Navratri begins on 19th March, just as the New Moon energy is fresh and the Equinox is arriving, the universe is essentially giving us nine full days of amplified manifestation power. Nine days where the veil between our wishes and our reality becomes thinner. Nine days where the Shakti energy of the universe is most accessible to us.

If you have been waiting for the “right time” to begin – this, my friend, is it.

Before the Ritual: The Power of Cleansing

Now, before I share the ritual with you, I want to talk about something that many people skip – and that I never skip. Cleansing.

Think of it this way. If you want to plant a beautiful garden, you first prepare the soil. You clear the old leaves, the rocks, the things that do not belong. Only then do you plant your seeds.

Your energy is the same.

Before any manifestation practice, it is important to cleanse the energy of your body and your space so that your intentions land in fertile ground. Since this New Moon is in Pisces, which is a water element sign, we will use salt water for our cleansing. Salt and water together are among the most powerful energy cleansers we have.

Salt Water Cleansing
Cleansing Practice Before the Ritual:

Take a bath or shower with a small amount of rock salt or sea salt added to your water.

As you bathe, visualize all stress, heaviness, and negativity washing away from your body and going down the drain.

You can also mop the floor of your home – especially the space where you will sit for the ritual – with a small amount of salt water.

This simple act creates a calm, purified space where your intentions can flow with clarity and power.

The 3-3-3 Manifestation Balance Ritual

I call this the 3-3-3 Ritual because everything in it comes in threes – reflecting the three powerful energies we are working with, and the beautiful numerological vibration of the number 3, which represents creativity, expression, and expansion.

This is not a complicated ritual. It does not require anything special or expensive. What it does require is your genuine presence, your sincere intention, and your willingness to trust.

What You Will Need

Here is the meaning behind each candle, because when we understand the energy we are working with, the ritual becomes so much more powerful:

CandleEnergyFocusIntention Theme
White CandlePisces New MoonInner PeaceWorld peace, compassion, harmony
Green CandleSpring EquinoxLife BalanceWork-life balance, finances, stability
Golden CandleChaitra NavratriYour GoalsCareer, growth, abundance, success

Step 1 – Create a Sacred Space

Choose a quiet corner of your home where you will not be disturbed. Place the three candles in front of you. Turn off bright lights if you can. Light some incense if you have it.

Sit comfortably and take three slow, deep breaths. As you breathe in, imagine golden light filling your body. As you breathe out, release anything that does not belong – worry, doubt, heaviness. Let your mind settle like water becoming still.

Take a moment to simply feel the space around you. This moment of stillness is not wasted time – it is preparation. It is how you open the door for the energy to come through.

Step 2 – Write Your Three Intentions

Now take your three pieces of paper. As you light each candle, you will write one intention connected to that energy. Take your time. Write slowly and with feeling.

PAPER 1 – WORLD PEACE & INNER HARMONY

(PISCES ENERGY – WHITE CANDLE)

First, light the white candle.

Pisces is a deeply compassionate and spiritual sign. At this time, many parts of the world are going through unrest and uncertainty. So, this first intention is dedicated to peace within ourselves and peace across the world.

On the first paper, write a manifestation for peace, harmony, and compassion in the world.

Examples:

This intention connects you with the Pisces energy of compassion, unity, and collective healing.

PAPER 2 – LIFE BALANCE & STABILITY

(EQUINOX ENERGY – GREEN CANDLE)

Now light the green candle.

The Equinox represents perfect balance, when day and night become equal. It is also the time when many people begin planning for the new financial year and organizing their priorities.

On the second paper, write one manifestation about balance and stability in your life.

Examples:

This intention connects you with the Equinox energy of harmony, stability, and alignment.

PAPER 3 – GROWTH & MANIFESTATION

(NAVRATRI ENERGY – YELLOW / GOLDEN / ORANGE CANDLE)

Now light the yellow, golden, or orange candle.

Chaitra Navratri represents the nine divine energies of Shakti, bringing courage, strength, and forward movement in life.

On the third paper, write one clear and specific manifestation related to your goals.

Examples:

This intention connects you with the manifestation energy of Navratri and the power of divine Shakti.

Write in the present tense, as though what you desire is already happening. This is not about pretending. This is about training your energy to align with the reality you want to call in.

Step 3 – Seal Your Intentions

Once all three papers are written, hold them together in both hands. Close your eyes. Feel the warmth of the candle flames. Take a slow breath, and say softly – aloud or in your heart:

“I welcome this new cycle with clarity, balance, and faith. May my intentions grow with the support of divine energy. I trust the process. I trust myself. I trust the universe.”

Then place the three papers near your candles. If you have a puja ghar or an altar at home, place them there. Let them stay there through the nine days of Navratri if possible.

If you prefer, you can also write your intentions on bay leaves and then carefully burn them, releasing the ash into the wind or flowing water – symbolizing that your intentions are now being carried to the universe.

After Navratri ends, keep these papers in your diary, your wallet, or a special place on your altar. Every time you see them, they will remind you of the intention you planted during this sacred window.

A Message From My Heart

I want to leave you with something personal.

There have been times in my own life when I felt stuck. When I couldn’t see the way forward. When I doubted whether things would ever change. And it was in those moments – the quiet ones, the still ones – that I learned to trust the timing of the universe.

Because I have seen, over and over again, that when we align ourselves with the natural rhythms of the cosmos – the moon cycles, the seasons, the sacred festivals of our tradition – things begin to shift. Not always loudly. Sometimes quietly. But they shift.

This portal opening right now is one of those rare moments where everything is aligned in your favour. The Pisces New Moon is giving you permission to dream. The Spring Equinox is giving you structure to grow. And Navratri is giving you the Shakti to make it real.

You do not need to be perfect. You do not need to have everything figured out. & You only need to show up, with an open heart and a sincere intention.

The universe will do the rest.

Wishing you a powerful New Moon, a blessed Navratri, and the most beautiful new beginning of your life.

Karma: Understanding the Invisible Blueprint of Our Life

There was a time when I found myself asking questions that many of you bring to me today:

Why do similar relationship patterns repeat despite sincere efforts?
Why do some people struggle endlessly while others receive opportunities effortlessly?
Why do certain emotional triggers feel older than the present moment?
Why do good intentions sometimes produce painful outcomes?

These questions are not philosophical curiosities. They arise from lived human experience.

In my journey as an educationist, spiritual practitioner, and guide, I gradually began to understand that life is not random. Beneath the visible layer of events operates a subtle law- one that governs balance, learning, growth, and evolution.

That law is Karma.

In my videos, especially the one on the Laws of Karma, I often emphasize that karma is not about fear or punishment. It is about awareness and evolution. When understood deeply, karma stops being something we fear and becomes something that empowers us.

This article is my heartfelt attempt to help you understand karma not merely as a concept, but as a living reality shaping our experiences, relationships, health, and growth.

What Karma Truly Means

The Sanskrit word karma literally means action.

However, in spiritual understanding, karma includes:

Every thought is energy.
Every emotion carries vibration.
Every action leaves an imprint.

These imprints form our karmic field.

Karma is not only what we do, it is who we become through what we repeatedly think, feel, and act upon.

Karma is Not Punishment, It is a Mirror

One of the greatest misconceptions is that karma is a system of punishment and reward.

It is not.

Karma functions as a mirror reflecting our inner state back to us. If a pattern repeats, life is not punishing you, life is teaching you.

If an emotional trigger resurfaces, it is not cruelty, it is an invitation to heal.

Karma is a compassionate teacher, not a cruel judge.

How Karma Influences Everyday Life

Karma operates continuously, shaping experiences across multiple dimensions of life:

Relationships

Why we attract certain types of people repeatedly
Why similar emotional dynamics appear in different relationships

Health & Body

Suppressed emotions can manifest as physical symptoms
Chronic stress patterns affect immunity and vitality

Financial Patterns

Inherited beliefs about money influence prosperity flow
Fear-based decisions reinforce scarcity patterns

Opportunities & Growth

Readiness and consciousness influence opportunities received

Emotional Responses

Why certain situations trigger intense reactions beyond proportion

Life Circumstances

Family environment, cultural context, and early influences shape karmic learning fields

Nothing is accidental.

Everything participates in our evolution.

Understanding the Three Types of Karma

Ancient wisdom describes three primary types of karma that together shape our life experience:

  1. Sanchita Karma – accumulated past karma
  2. Prarabdha Karma – karma currently unfolding
  3. Agami Karma – karma you are creating now

Understanding these three is like understanding the architecture of your destiny.

1. Sanchita Karma – The Storehouse of Impressions

Sanchita means accumulated.

This is the reservoir of karmic impressions gathered across time.

It includes:

Think of Sanchita karma as a vast archive containing impressions that influence our tendencies.

Importantly, Sanchita is not only negative.

It also holds:

How Sanchita Karma Appears in Life

You may notice it through:

Have you ever met someone and felt an immediate familiarity, as if you had known them forever?

This resonance often arises from karmic memory.

Also read: Angel Numbers: Answering the Most Asked Questions

2. Prarabdha Karma – The Karma Currently Unfolding

Prarabdha karma is the portion of Sanchita karma chosen for this lifetime.

It forms the framework of experiences your soul has come to learn from.

It includes:

Prarabdha karma is already in motion. It is like an arrow released from the bow.

We cannot stop its flight, but we can choose how we respond when it reaches us.

Examples of Prarabdha Karma

Prarabdha does not dictate your reaction, it provides the learning ground.

Growth depends on awareness.

3. Agami Karma – The Karma You Create Now

Agami karma is the karma we create through present choices.

It includes:

This is where free will operates.

Agami karma shapes future experience.

Every reaction plants a seed, every conscious choice transforms destiny.

Examples of Agami Karma

Agami karma is your power.

It allows transformation, it allows liberation.

How These Three Karmas Work Together

A simple analogy:

Sanchita → the seeds stored in the warehouse
Prarabdha → the crop currently growing in the field
Agami → the seeds you are planting today

You cannot change what is already growing.

But you can choose what you plant next, and that determines future harvests.

Karmic Patterns: Why Life Repeats Certain Lessons

When lessons remain unlearned, patterns repeat.

This repetition may appear as:

Karma repeats until awareness replaces unconsciousness.

Can Karma Be Dissolved?

Yes.

Karma is not permanent, it persists only while the lesson remains incomplete and once awareness arises, repetition dissolves.

Healing karma means integrating the lesson with awareness and compassion.

Signs You Are Releasing Karmic Patterns

Healing karma does not remove challenges, it transforms your relationship with them.

Powerful Ways to Heal & Dissolve Karma

Awareness & Self-Observation

Observe recurring patterns without judgment.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness releases emotional cords binding karmic cycles.

Radical Responsibility

Shift from victimhood to conscious participation.

Meditation & Inner Silence

Silence reveals subconscious imprints.

Karmic Healing Through Crystals

Nature holds frequencies that support energetic realignment. Over the years, I have observed how specific crystals support karmic healing when used with awareness and intention.

Relationship Karma Healing: Ammonite

Ammonite carries ancient earth wisdom and spiral geometry symbolizing evolution.

Supports:

Use: Hold during forgiveness meditation or place it with a picture of you and your partner.

Health Karma Healing: Amber

Amber contains fossilized life force energy preserved for millions of years.

Supports:

Use: Wear as jewellery or place near the solar plexus while resting.

Financial Karma Healing: Kuber Fossil

Associated with Lord Kuber, guardian of wealth, this fossil symbolizes abundance flow.

Supports:

Use: Keep in workspace or near financial documents while visualizing abundance.

You Are Not Bound — You Are Becoming

You are not imprisoned by karma.

You are evolving through it.

Karma does not exist to trap you.

It exists to awaken you.

A Reflection From My Journey

Through years of guiding thousands of individuals, I have witnessed a profound shift:

When people understand karma,
they stop asking, “Why is this happening to me?”
and begin asking,
“What is this teaching me?”

That question alone transforms destiny.

Final Reflection

Karma is not about fear.
It is about awareness.
It is about evolution.
It is about conscious living.

Your past may explain you…
but it does not define you.

Every conscious choice reshapes your future.

And that is the sacred power of human life.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to watch my video on the Laws of Karma, where I explain how karmic principles operate in everyday life.

Your journey is purposeful.
Your growth is sacred.
Your transformation is always possible.

Holi 2026 & the Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

A Sacred Gateway for Deep Healing, Karmic Release, and Spiritual Renewal

There are moments in the cosmic rhythm of life when the universe seems to pause… and invite us inward. Holi 2026 brings one such rare and deeply sacred window.

On 3 March 2026, four powerful spiritual forces align:

When these energies converge, they create a profound gateway, a time for deep cleansing, karmic release, emotional healing, and spiritual renewal.

This is not a day to fear, this is a day of liberation.

It is a moment to release what burdens the heart, cleanse what clouds the mind, and realign with clarity, peace, and inner truth.

Let us gently understand the sacred energies guiding us during this powerful time.

Understanding the Four Sacred Energies

1. Full Moon Energy: Completion & Emotional Illumination

The Full Moon has always symbolized culmination and emotional illumination. It is the phase when hidden emotions rise to the surface and cycles reach completion.

Traditionally, Full Moon energy supports:

• completion of cycles
• emotional release
• letting go of the past
• inner illumination

Many people feel heightened sensitivity, deeper emotions, vivid dreams, or clarity during a Full Moon. Normally, Full Moon nights are celebrated with joy, expression, and outward energy.

However, this Full Moon carries deeper spiritual work.

Because it coincides with a Total Lunar Eclipse, we are not called to celebrate outwardly — but to release inwardly.

Instead of asking, What can I express?
This moon asks: What can I release?

For example:

This Full Moon invites closure, not suppression, but healing closure.

2. Total Lunar Eclipse: Shadow Cleansing & Karmic Release

A Total Lunar Eclipse, often called a Blood Moon, is one of the most powerful energetic events in spiritual traditions.

During an eclipse, the influence of Rahu and Ketu (the lunar nodes) intensifies. These shadow forces bring hidden emotional patterns to the surface.

They illuminate:

• unresolved karmic relationships
• emotional wounds
• past hurts and betrayals
• subconscious fears
• repeating life patterns

Have you noticed recurring relationship patterns?
Repeated disappointments?
The same emotional triggers resurfacing?

Eclipse energy does not create these patterns, it reveals them. This is not a time to fear shadows, this is a time to heal them.

Instead of feeling overwhelmed by resurfacing emotions, we are invited to:

✔ acknowledge them
✔ cleanse them
✔ release them
✔ reclaim emotional freedom

Many people feel unexpected emotional waves during eclipses. Tears may come without clear reason. Memories may resurface.

This is healing in motion.

Let it move through you.

3. Virgo Full Moon :Healing, Purification & Inner Order

This Full Moon occurs in Virgo, the sign of healing, purification, discipline, and sacred self-improvement.

Virgo is associated with the Sixth House, which governs:

Rog — Disease & Imbalances
Rin — Debts & Burdens
Ripu — Inner & Outer Enemies

This eclipse illuminates areas needing healing, not perfection.

Virgo does not demand flawlessness, they invites restoration and balance.

This is a moment to reflect:

Virgo teaches sacred self-care, mindful living, and inner order.

This is the time to restore balance in body, mind, emotions, and daily routines.

4. Holika Dahan: Burning Negativity & Inner Transformation

Holika Dahan symbolizes the victory of truth over illusion and purity over negativity.

The sacred fire represents:

• destruction of limiting beliefs
• release of karmic burdens
• purification of emotional toxins
• transformation through surrender

Fire does not merely destroy, it transforms. What is offered into sacred fire is not lost, it is transmuted.

Pain becomes wisdom.
Fear becomes strength.
Burden becomes freedom.

When aligned with eclipse energy, Holika Dahan becomes a powerful ritual of release and renewal.
